I’ve always believed that stories have the power to change people — and that belief is what first led me to start my YouTube channel, Quear. It was a space to share stories from the LGBTQ+ community, giving people the chance to see themselves in someone else’s journey. That experience taught me just how powerful human connection can be, and how much we can learn from each other when we lead with vulnerability and openness.
More recently, my life has taken me down a different path — one rooted in wellness, movement, and resilience. After my dad suffered a stage five brain haemorrhage, my world was turned upside down. It was one of the hardest years of my life. But it also became the catalyst for change. I started the 75 Hard challenge, not just as a physical reset, but as a way to find purpose again — to rebuild from the inside out.
That journey sparked something bigger than I could have imagined. I launched a run club, with our first meet-up bringing together 75 people, and the next one growing to 150. What started as a simple idea — to move and connect — has become a community built on encouragement, not competition. It’s all about showing up for yourself, one step at a time.
Now, I’m continuing to build in this space — exploring new ways to motivate others through movement, mindset, and community. My biggest lesson? Your mind is your greatest muscle. You can do anything you set it to — as long as you believe, stay kind to yourself, and keep showing up. Growth doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from persistence.
